Age verification on LuvMe uses a multi-step approach: users must provide their date of birth and accept the Terms of Service (which include a minimum age requirement of 18) during account creation, and terms acceptance is recorded with a server-side timestamp (tos_accepted_at) for compliance auditing. On mobile platforms, age enforcement is additionally handled at the OS level via Apple's Declared Age Range API and Google Play's age rating system.
