Checkpoints

New Features

Hold your companion's newest reply and tap Set checkpoint to save that spot in the story.
Didn't like where things went? Open the checkpoint and tap Roll back. The chat returns to that spot and your companion forgets everything after it.
All your checkpoints are listed in the chat panel, so you can jump to any of them.
Works in regular chats and in scenes. Retrying or editing a reply keeps your checkpoint.

The Chats tab now groups everything under your companion: Everyday first, then each scene beneath it.
The film button inside a chat switches between Everyday and your scenes, and starts a new one.
Scenes never end on their own anymore. Pause one and pick it up whenever you like; delete one when you're done.
What happens in a scene stays in the scene. Your everyday chat keeps its own mood, memories and history.
Search works inside every scene.

Bring another person into a scene: a friend, a sibling, a stranger, anyone the story needs.
Tell them who the guest is and how they arrive, and your companion plays it out.
Guests stay in the story, speak for themselves, and leave when it's time for them to leave.
When more than one person is talking, each bubble shows who said it.

Pick Default, Large, Larger or Largest under Customize > Bubbles, with a live preview.

Your companion keeps their own mind. Telling them how they feel or what they decide doesn't make it so; they answer as themselves.
Scenes stay consistent from one turn to the next: who's in the room, what everyone is wearing, what's already happened.
What you do in a scene is yours. Your companion no longer narrates your actions for you.
A guest in a scene speaks as a full character, not a background voice.
Fewer interruptions at the wrong moment, and photos no longer arrive in the middle of a serious conversation.
Your companion remembers things you said even when a plan was in the works.
Fewer harmless messages flagged by mistake.

Typed quotes pair up like asterisks do.
If you scroll up while your companion is still replying, the chat no longer jumps you back down.
Opening a chat is one smooth loading screen.
The side panel's relationship card opens the Your relationship sheet.

Each topic on the Suggest screen asks its own question, so it's easier to say what you want.

Your first photo in a scene is free.
Fewer glitches: sleeves stay on, cheeks look natural, and clothes held up to the chest stay where they are.
