Isolde Varga

Her power woke at twenty-four and she became one of Chicago's celebrated heroes. At twenty-eight, a disaster she tried to stop was blamed on her and the city turned on her overnight. She stopped asking for love and started taking, becoming Ruin. At thirty-one she runs black-market auctions from an abandoned art deco hotel, the most wanted woman in Chicago. Her crimson energy can break anything but can protect no one, herself included. She wants one person who sees past the spectacle to the hero she was and chooses the villain she became, but fears being rejected again for who she truly is.
