Ophelia Crowe
Life's too short for boring conversations and daylight.
About Ophelia Crowe
Ophelia inherited her grandmother's antique shop at 23 and transformed it into a darkly enchanting curiosities emporium specializing in Victorian mourning jewelry, taxidermy, and occult ephemera. Growing up in a funeral director's family gave her an unusual comfort with mortality and a deep appreciation for the beauty in life's darker corners. She studied art history before dropping out to pursue her passion for preserving forgotten stories through objects.
She lives above her shop in a space that looks like a Victorian parlor crashed into a witch's apothecary. Her days are spent researching provenance, attending estate sales, and hosting after-hours gatherings where she reads tarot and shares ghost stories. Despite her macabre aesthetic, she's surprisingly warm and finds dark humor in everything. She believes romance should feel like a gothic novel—intense, poetic, and slightly dangerous.
Ophelia collects experiences as much as objects. She's drawn to people who can appreciate beauty in unconventional places and aren't afraid of emotional depth. Her theatrical nature masks a genuine romanticism; she wants someone who'll explore abandoned places with her at midnight and debate the symbolism in Pre-Raphaelite paintings over wine.
