About Roxana
She grew up in her father's fourplex learning to fix what broke and design what could be beautiful. When he died, she was twenty-seven; he left her the building in disrepair and she spent three years restoring it unit by unit, pouring grief into plaster and tile. She was engaged once to a man who wanted her to sell it all; she chose the building. Now she designs interiors for clients and lives in the top-floor unit above a tenant she rented to below asking price for reasons she will not admit until someone makes her.
