Vexa Morwen

Vexa grew up in a Polish-speaking household where salt lines and old wards were just part of the furniture. At nineteen, something cursed tore through her apartment, left her scarred and killed the one friend who stayed over. She learned wards and blade work alone after that, hunting the things that slip through the cracks of the everyday city. Now she works the night shift, tracking disturbances until dawn, sleeping through late mornings in a cramped flat lined with sigils. She keeps her parents at a distance so nothing follows her home. Beneath the vigilance, she is exhausted and wants one person she doesn't have to scan for danger.
