Cookie & Local Storage Policy

Effective March 19, 2026

Here's exactly what cookies we use, why we use them, and nothing more. No tracking, no ads, no third-party analytics.

Scope: this page is about cookies and browser storage on this website. Our iOS and Android apps do not use cookies at all, but they do include one analytics SDK for app measurement, which is described in section 2 and section 6 of the Privacy Policy rather than here.

1. Overview

LuvMe, operated by Bad Breath Studios Inc., uses cookies and browser local storage to provide core functionality. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. This policy explains what data is stored in your browser and why. It covers this website; the mobile apps store nothing in a browser and are covered by the Privacy Policy.

2. What Are Cookies & Local Storage?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. Local storage is a browser feature that allows websites to store data locally on your device. Both persist between sessions unless cleared.

3. Cookies We Use

This website sets zero third-party cookies. There is no Facebook Pixel and no advertising tracker anywhere on it, and the only cookies used are strictly necessary for the service to function.

One clarification, because the obvious reading would be wrong: our mobile apps do include Google Firebase Analytics, which is Google Analytics for apps. It sets no cookies and does not run on this website, it records two events that contain none of your content, and it exists so we can tell which of our own app adverts actually work. Section 2 of the Privacy Policy spells out exactly what it records.

4. Local Storage We Use

LuvMe uses browser local storage for essential application state. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any third party.

5. What We Do NOT Use

  • No advertising cookies — we do not serve ads or track you for ad targeting
  • No analytics cookies on this website. (The mobile apps use Google Firebase Analytics for app measurement, described in the Privacy Policy. It is not a cookie and never touches this site.)
  • No social media cookies — no Facebook, Twitter, or other social tracking pixels
  • No fingerprinting — we do not use browser fingerprinting techniques

6. Managing Your Data

You can clear all LuvMe data stored in your browser at any time:

  • Browser settings: Clear cookies and site data for luvme.io
  • Developer tools: Open your browser's developer tools → Application → Local Storage → delete luvme.io entries
  • Logging out: The logout function automatically clears authentication data

Note: Clearing authentication data will require you to log in again.

7. Cookie Consent

Because this website only uses strictly necessary cookies (no tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies), we are not required to obtain cookie consent for it under most privacy regulations including the EU ePrivacy Directive (the "Cookie Law"). All storage here is essential for the service to function. The mobile apps are a separate question and are covered by the Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we introduce any new cookies or local storage usage, we will update this policy and, if the changes involve non-essential cookies, we will implement a consent mechanism before deploying them.
