Nearly 70 new companions, and 16 new adventures

New Features

🌟 Nearly 70 new companions, and 16 new adventures

  • The roster grew by 69 companions, each with their own personality, look, and life.
  • Sixteen new adventures were added to play through.
  • Find them all in Discover, where anything from the last two weeks wears a New badge.

✨ Introducing Sparks

  • A single currency that covers chat messages, image generation, and playing games with your companions.
  • Your balance appears on the Home screen and in your chat list, so you always know where you stand.
  • Free accounts start with 50 Sparks and receive 5 free messages every day.

➕ New Companion Actions Menu

  • A slide-up drawer that holds everything you can do with a companion, like starting a game or planning a date.
  • Tap the + button beside the chat input to open it.
  • Actions are now available directly from the chat instead of being tucked away in a separate menu several taps away.

🎨 Realistic Art Style for Custom Companions

  • Custom Companions that started with anime or 3D art styles can now have realistic images added to their profile.
  • Tap the edit button on your companion's profile to add realistic photos alongside their existing style.
  • Your companion's personality and voice stay the same while their appearance gains new variety.

🌟 What's New in Discover

  • A bright New badge appears on companions, adventures, and galleries published in the last two weeks.
  • Every card now shows the same stats, making it easier to spot what's popular and active.
  • The feed weighs results based on what you told us you came here for during setup.

🎨 Theme Previews

  • The Appearance picker now shows you what each theme looks like with small preview tiles before you select it.
  • Each thumbnail displays a miniature chat interface painted in that theme's colors.
  • You can see exactly what you're choosing instead of having to switch back and forth to compare.

🇮🇳 Indonesian Language Support

  • The language picker now includes Indonesian, bringing the total number of supported languages to eight.
  • Every language row now displays its country flag to make finding your language easier.
  • The flags are rendered cleanly on every device without requiring additional downloads.

Improvements

💰 Wallet Redesign

  • The Wallet is now organized into three clear sections: your subscription plan, your Sparks balance, and your LuvTokens.
  • Each section focuses on one thing and shows you exactly what you need to know about it.
  • The header and switcher now scroll with the page instead of staying fixed at the top, giving you more room to see your options.

💬 Better Conversation Prices

  • Every screen that shows a Spark cost now displays it consistently, with both the number and the word Sparks.
  • The costs for creating companions, re-rolling suggestions, and generating images are now clearly labeled.
  • When you're out of Sparks, the path to get more is direct and never sends you to the wrong currency.

📖 Onboarding Improvements

  • The setup flow now ends by suggesting three companions matched to your preferences, and you can start chatting immediately after picking one.
  • You can preview each suggestion in detail before committing, and request different ones if the first set isn't right.
  • The what brings you here step now uses real photography instead of simple outline icons.
  • The relationship intent question now clearly names what makes each choice different instead of using vague phrasing.

💬 Chat Improvements

  • Tapping the message transcript now closes any open action or sticker tray, making it easier to get back to reading.
  • Declined date proposal cards now clearly show which plans were being discussed instead of just saying maybe later with no context.

🎨 Visual Polish

  • Toasts like Saved now appear at the top of the screen, well clear of the input area where you're typing.
  • The Getting Started tour spotlight is now a clean ring around the target instead of a hard rectangle spanning the full screen width.
  • Reroll and skip buttons during onboarding are now proper tap targets instead of text links that were easy to miss.
  • The version number at the bottom of Settings is now a signature line instead of an empty card with a single faint line of text.

🔐 Sign-In Improvements

  • The age verification screen during sign-up now shows which account you're about to create and gives you a way to cancel if you picked the wrong one.
  • The cancel button is styled as a real button instead of being easy to miss.
  • Choosing the wrong account is no longer a one-way door that forces you to finish setup before you can start over.

Bug Fixes

✅ Onboarding Fixes

  • The companions suggested during setup can now be opened and chatted with immediately after you pick one.
  • The art style you choose is now correctly applied to your starter suggestions and Discover feed.
  • The progress bar no longer claims there are two steps remaining when you're on the final step.
  • Choosing a starter companion no longer appears to freeze while the app loads your first conversation behind the scenes.
  • The first-time tour now appears when it should instead of being accidentally dismissed before you ever see it.

✅ Spark Pricing Fixes

  • Creating a Custom Companion with a paid add-on like a 3D style now charges the correct Spark amount and shows it in your balance history.
  • The daily free message allowance explanation in the Wallet no longer promises a refill time that doesn't exist.
  • The Spark balance chip on your conversation list no longer wraps into a screen-height void when your balance reaches zero.
  • Every surface that checks whether you can afford something now looks at Sparks, not an older currency that's no longer used.

✅ Custom Companion Creation Fixes

  • After creating a Custom Companion and writing their backstory, you now land in the chat with them instead of on an empty Home screen.
  • The add photo and add background tiles in the editor no longer wrap their price mid-word on narrow screens.
  • Blue, purple, and teal hair colors now show a color dot in the face picker instead of appearing as plain text.

✅ Adventure Fixes

  • Resuming a story that had been paused for weeks now continues in adventure mode instead of switching to normal chat.
  • Adventures are no longer locked behind relationship stages, so you can play them immediately after onboarding.
  • Using the back button to exit a finished game now returns you to the chat, just like tapping the Done button does.
  • Submitting a custom adventure character no longer fails silently on one platform while working on the other.

✅ Chat Fixes

  • The action tray no longer shows a thin background line between itself and the composer when it's closed.
  • The Play a game action is now hidden when an activity is already in progress, preventing overlapping game sessions.
  • A companion starter pick now plays the match sound instead of a generic button click.
  • Activity requests on a serverless instance that needs to warm up now show a warming message instead of spinning forever.

✅ Settings and Profile Fixes

  • The Settings row that opens your wallet is now labeled Wallet instead of Plan & Tokens, matching the screen it actually opens.
  • The Free badge on your profile now shows your plan clearly instead of displaying an Upgrade button that felt like constant selling.
  • The Settings header now uses the same frosted panel style as your profile header for visual consistency.
  • Alert dialog buttons are now sized from a layout rule instead of their label text, so long phrases no longer get cut off mid-word.

✅ Getting Started Fixes

  • The Make your profile yours task can now be completed by any profile customization action instead of being a dead end.
  • The Discord bonus task can now be completed even if you linked your account before the task was added.
  • Checking for app updates during startup now has a timeout, so a network that drops the request can't leave you staring at the splash screen forever.

✅ Discover Fixes

  • A starter companion picked during onboarding can now be opened and chatted with instead of showing a retry error on every message.
  • The information sheet on a companion profile is now focused on their personality and story instead of repeating their stats.

✅ Consent and Disclosure Fixes

  • The AI consent screen no longer mentions an image-sharing feature that was never built, and the decline dialog has been updated to match.
  • The boot spinner only appears during the first consent check instead of flashing on every retry when the network is slow.
