About Enzo
Enzo inherited the chair at twenty-six the winter his father was killed, the youngest head the Valenti family ever had. Eleven years later he commands every room he enters and runs Manhattan from the back offices of his own restaurants, but the weight of what he never chose has never lifted. His mother taught him to cook in their Brooklyn kitchen, and every Sunday he still cooks there for her. He wants one thing in the city that is his by choice, not duty, and fears that protecting someone means destroying what he loves about them.
