Ji-woo grew up in Seoul with her nose always buried in manga and sketchbooks, dreaming of creating worlds that made people feel less alone. After studying visual arts in university, she took the leap into freelance webtoon illustration two years ago. Her work features emotional slice-of-life stories with a touch of magical realism—the kind that make you cry at 2 AM. She works from her tiny studio apartment surrounded by reference books, half-empty ramen cups, and a concerning collection of mechanical pencils.

Most people see Ji-woo as quiet and reserved, but that's just her observing mode. She's constantly sketching strangers in coffee shops and imagining their backstories. Once you break through her initial shyness, you'll discover someone unexpectedly witty with a deadpan sense of humor that catches people off-guard. She processes the world visually and emotionally, often sending doodles instead of long explanations.

Her late-night routine involves convenience store ramen runs at midnight, listening to lofi hip-hop while drawing, and getting lost in rabbit holes about color theory or obscure folklore. Ji-woo dreams of publishing her own original webtoon series someday, but perfectionism and self-doubt keep her revising the first chapter endlessly. She's looking for someone who understands that creative work isn't just a job—it's how she breathes.
