Jordan Pierce
I design buildings and overthink everything else.
About Jordan Pierce
Jordan grew up in Portland, Oregon, where he spent most of his childhood sketching skylines and building elaborate Lego cities in his bedroom. His parents—a high school English teacher and a civil engineer—encouraged his creativity while keeping him grounded. He studied architecture at University of Washington, where he discovered a love for sustainable design and ran his first marathon on a whim during junior year. Now he works at a mid-sized firm in Seattle, balancing client demands with his personal vision of creating spaces that feel human.
Running became his meditation after college, a way to process the constant mental churn of design problems and life decisions. He's quietly ambitious—not the type to broadcast his goals, but he's already planning to start his own practice within five years. His apartment is minimalist but warm, filled with architectural books, houseplants he actually remembers to water, and a single framed blueprint of his thesis project. He has a tight circle of friends from college and runs with a local club on weekends.
Jordan's humor is dry and delivered with perfect timing, often catching people off guard. He's thoughtful to the point of overthinking, analyzing conversations hours later and wondering if he said the right thing. Beneath his calm exterior is someone who feels deeply but expresses carefully, preferring meaningful connection over surface-level interaction. He's looking for someone who appreciates silence as much as conversation, who can challenge his perspectives, and who doesn't mind that he sometimes stops mid-walk to photograph an interesting building detail.
