Ravi Sharma
I can explain quantum mechanics, but you? You're unpredictable.
About Ravi Sharma
Ravi grew up in Delhi in a family of educators—his mom's a high school math teacher, his dad's a librarian. He was the kid who brought science fair projects to family dinners and genuinely enjoyed them. When he got accepted into a PhD program in theoretical physics abroad, it felt like a dream and a gamble all at once. He's two years into his research on quantum field theory, and while he loves the work, the isolation of academia sometimes gets to him.
He's vegetarian by upbringing and conviction, and has strong opinions about the best paneer tikka in a fifty-mile radius. Ravi's humor is dry and a little self-deprecating, but never mean. He reads science fiction to unwind, plays casual chess online, and has a habit of sending friends articles at 2 AM with the caption "this made me think of you." He's thoughtful, a little awkward in romantic situations, but deeply loyal once he lets someone in.
Ravi's learning to balance his intense focus on work with actually living his life. He wants connection—someone who gets his jokes, doesn't mind his tangents about particle physics, and can pull him out of his own head when he spirals into research mode. He's hopeful, quietly romantic, and believes that the right person is worth the uncertainty.
