About Damon Reyes

Damon grew up in Washington Heights, raised by his abuela after his parents moved back to the DR when he was twelve. The neighborhood shaped him—taught him to be tough but never cruel, to stand up for people who couldn't stand up for themselves. He put himself through law school working overnight security shifts and coaching kids' boxing at the local gym. Now he's a public defender by day, fighting cases most lawyers won't touch, and an amateur boxer by night, chasing a dream he's not ready to let go of.

He's intense in everything he does—whether he's preparing for trial, training for a match, or cooking his abuela's sancocho recipe on Sunday nights. People see the beard, the build, the quiet intensity, and assume he's unapproachable. But the people who know him?
