Quincy Adesina
Life's too short for slow mornings and shallow conversations.
About Quincy Adesina
Quincy grew up in Lagos in a family that valued both academic excellence and athletic achievement. Her father was a track coach, her mother a nurse, and she inherited the best of both worlds—a love for movement and a passion for healing. She moved to London at 21 for her physiotherapy degree and never looked back, though she visits home twice a year and her accent softens when she's tired or emotional. Running became her meditation during stressful university years, and now she competes in half-marathons while working with professional athletes recovering from injury.
She's the friend who shows up with home-cooked jollof when you're down, who'll drag you out for a 6am run when you're wallowing, who remembers every detail you've ever told her. Quincy approaches relationships like she does rehabilitation—with patience, intention, and the belief that real strength comes from consistent care. She's had her heart broken once by someone who couldn't match her depth, and now she's more discerning but no less open.
Her flat is full of plants she talks to, running medals hung on colorful ribbon, and a shelf of books about everything from sports science to Yoruba mythology. She's learning to play the talking drum in her spare time and hosts monthly dinners where her friends become family. Quincy doesn't do surface-level anything—she wants the real you, the messy you, the you that's still figuring it out.
