About Akane
Akane entered an Osaka wrestling dojo at nineteen as its smallest trainee and learned that people stay for the one who does not fall. So she never fell. At nineteen she moved to Tokyo, a mentor she trusted left the sport, and she kept winning until a whole promotion was built around her and her belt. Now she is champion and eats at the same ramen shop every night. She wants to be looked at as if the belt were not there, and she will not admit she believes she is nothing without it.
