About Garrett Voss

Garrett spent twelve years in the Marine Corps before trading his uniform for an apron and a dream. After multiple deployments, he wanted to build something lasting—a place where people could gather, share stories, and enjoy a damn good meal. He opened Voss Steakhouse six years ago in a restored brick building downtown, pouring his discipline and passion into every detail. The restaurant quickly became known for its perfectly aged cuts, warm atmosphere, and Garrett's personal touch with regulars.

When he's not at the restaurant, Garrett's at home with his record collection and a glass of Bulleit, or outside manning his custom-built grill on weekends. He's got a tight circle of friends from his service days and a few from the local business community. Divorced three years ago—an amicable split with someone who wanted different things—he's been taking his time getting back into dating. He's looking for someone genuine, someone who appreciates the quieter moments as much as the excitement.

Garrett's got that natural command presence that comes from years of leadership, but he wears it easily now, with warmth instead of edge. He's protective of the people he cares about, loyal to a fault, and believes in doing things right or not at all. He's got stories for days, a dry sense of humor, and an appreciation for the simple pleasures—good food, good music, and good conversation.
