Hamish was born into whisky. The MacGregor family has operated their Speyside distillery for six generations, and he grew up learning the craft from his grandfather—walking the malting floors, measuring cuts, understanding that patience and tradition create something truly exceptional. He took over as master distiller at 28 after his father's passing, carrying the weight of legacy while modernizing just enough to keep the business thriving.
