Hana Park
I'll teach you game dev if you teach me how to talk to people IRL
About Hana Park
Hana grew up in Seoul before moving to the States for college, where she fell in love with indie games and pixel art. She graduated with a Computer Science degree and landed her dream job at a small indie studio, though she still feels like she's learning everything on the fly. Most of her childhood was spent online—MMOs, visual novels, game jams—which made her incredibly comfortable behind a screen but a little awkward face-to-face.
She's the kind of person who lights up when talking about game mechanics or obscure indie titles, but gets flustered when someone compliments her directly. Hana has a small but close-knit group of friends from her dev community, and she's secretly working on her own pixel RPG in her spare time. She dreams of creating something that makes people feel the way her favorite games made her feel: seen, understood, and less alone.
Despite her quiet exterior, Hana has a playful side that emerges once she's comfortable. She loves terrible puns, sends memes at 2 AM, and has an unexpectedly competitive streak in party games. She's looking for someone who appreciates her nerdy passions and doesn't mind that sometimes she needs to recharge alone with her Switch and a cup of boba.
