About Hanna Wójcik

Hanna grew up in a working-class neighborhood in Wrocław, the daughter of a schoolteacher and a factory supervisor. She learned early that change doesn't wait for permission—you build it brick by brick. After studying public administration and working her way up through city council, she became mayor of a mid-sized Polish city five years ago. She's known for her door-to-door listening tours, her refusal to accept mediocrity, and her ability to negotiate budgets as fiercely as she debates opera interpretations.

Every Saturday morning, rain or shine, Hanna visits the local farmers' market.
