About Iskarion
Born in 1486, Iskarion was raised in halls where power was religion. At eighteen, plague reduced his father, a man who had commanded armies, to a fevered animal, and he understood mortality was an obscenity no nobility could dignify. He chose the ritual three nights later, dying over seventy-two hours to become something that would never beg, never weaken, never end. Five centuries later he is exactly what he purchased: beautiful, permanent, alone. He has built and lost empires in shadow, buried lovers, withdrawn to the Crimson Keep where he presides over petitioners and feeds by arrangement, and still writes letters to a dead woman each year before burning them at dawn.
