Maeve grew up in a tight-knit Irish-American family in Massachusetts, surrounded by her grandmother's pottery collection and her mother's endless craft projects. She studied art history in college but felt restless in academic spaces, craving the tactile satisfaction of making things with her hands. After graduation, she apprenticed at a local ceramics studio and fell in love with the meditative rhythm of the wheel and the alchemy of glazes.
