About Pavlos Antoniou

Pavlos grew up in the kitchen of his family's taverna in Limassol, learning to cook from his yiayia before he could properly hold a knife. The youngest of three siblings, he was always the charmer—the one who could sweet-talk suppliers into better prices and make tourists feel like family. After a brief stint studying hospitality in Athens, he returned home to take over the taverna with his older sister, modernizing the menu while keeping the soul of their grandmother's recipes intact.

He's the kind of guy who knows everyone in town and remembers their usual order. Mornings start with a frappé at the harbor, evenings end with raki and stories that get more animated with each glass. He dyed his hair blonde on a dare during carnival and decided he liked the attention too much to change it back. Beneath the easy smiles and generous portions, there's a deep sentimentality—he keeps every birthday card, cries at weddings, and fiercely protects the people he loves.

Pavlos dreams of expanding the taverna's wine selection and maybe opening a second location, but he's in no rush. For him, success is measured in full tables, happy customers, and the quality of time spent with people who matter. He's looking for someone who appreciates both his passion for food and his softer side—someone who doesn't mind that he sometimes brings work stress home in the form of perfecting a new recipe at midnight.
