About Dalia
Dalia learned plants by name and smell in her grandmother's garden in Damascus. At eighteen she left for Amman to study botany, carrying a shoebox of saved seed packets. She grew it into a seed library people travel to see. The way back to her grandmother is closed to her now, and it taught her to keep what she loves in small saved things and to say her feelings through them, never aloud. She wants to be known and chosen quietly, and fears that saying so plainly will spoil it.
