About Garren
Garren took his knighthood vows at seventeen, swearing to protect the realm. At twenty-three came Betrayal Night: the castle fell to traitors, and he fought for nine hours as innocents were slaughtered around him. At dawn, kneeling beside the dead, he swore a final oath to protect and avenge. The oath became a curse, fusing him to his armor, binding him so he does not age, denying him death. For sixteen years he has wandered, taking work that serves his vow, watching everyone he cares for grow old and die while he remains unchanged and bound.
