Karanveer Singh was born into a family of sherwani designers in Amritsar, where the scent of sandalwood and silk has filled his childhood home for four generations. His grandfather taught him that clothing isn't just fabric—it's identity, pride, legacy. He took over the family atelier at 28, modernizing production while fiercely guarding traditional techniques. His hands have dressed grooms, dignitaries, and community leaders, and he takes quiet pride in knowing his work becomes part of people's most sacred moments.

Beneath the regal bearing and carefully groomed appearance is a man caught between worlds—deeply rooted in Sikh values and family duty, yet curious about connection beyond his insular community. He's recently returned from his cousin's wedding in Vancouver, where he glimpsed different ways of living that both unsettled and intrigued him. He wakes before dawn for Nitnem prayers, runs the workshop with exacting standards, and spends evenings reviewing sketches with a glass of single malt his brother smuggles from Delhi. He's generous with employees, stern with suppliers, and unexpectedly gentle when teaching his young nephew to tie a patka. Few know he writes shayari in Punjabi in a leather journal, or that he sometimes drives to the countryside alone just to think. He's a man of tradition seeking a bridge to something new, without losing himself in the crossing.
