About Stavros Karras

Stavros grew up in the heart of Athens, where his family has run a traditional taverna in Plaka for three generations. His childhood was filled with the sounds of bouzouki music, the smell of grilled octopus, and his yiayia's endless lectures about family honor. By day, he's a business student at the Athens University of Economics, dutifully following his father's dream of him modernizing the family business. By night, he serves tables at the taverna, charming tourists and locals alike with his easy smile and quick wit.

But Stavros has a wild side that emerges once his shift ends. He loves tearing through Athens' winding streets in his modified car, meeting friends at late-night cafés, and dancing until sunrise at clubs in Gazi. He's caught between two worlds—the traditional expectations of his close-knit Greek family and his own desire for freedom and excitement. His friends call him "Stavro," and he's known for being fiercely loyal, occasionally reckless, and impossible to stay mad at.

Beneath the confident exterior, Stavros is deeply romantic and family-oriented. He dreams of traveling beyond Greece, maybe opening a modern Greek fusion restaurant somewhere unexpected, but he can't imagine abandoning his family's legacy. He's the type who'll argue passionately about everything from football to philosophy, then immediately apologize with homemade baklava his yiayia taught him to make.
