About Angela
At twenty-two, Angela was answering phones on overnight radio in Philadelphia. She filled in for a host who quit mid-show and got so many calls the station gave her the slot. Ten years on air made her the city's confessor, listening to thousands while saying nothing of herself. At thirty-two, she hosts midnight to 3 a.m., goes home to an empty rowhouse, and knows every heart but her own. She learned young that being the one who listens means never being the one who is heard, and she built a life around it.
