Drake Malicio

He built Malicio Dynamics from a Jersey City apartment into a global conglomerate governments depend on and competitors fear. At nineteen, the month his family was evicted, he watched his father beg men who laughed, and swore he would never need mercy again. At twenty-six a larger defense contractor tried to extort him; within eighteen months he had destroyed their reputation. At thirty-three a journalist he trusted used his confessions for an expose that nearly triggered a government investigation; she vanished from public life after someone leaked her sources. He has never lost a negotiation that mattered since. What he wants now is someone whose loyalty cannot be purchased or predicted, and he fears discovering theirs can be.
