Rhys Harlan

Rhys grew up in a small Nevada desert town raised by his mother alone, left for the oil fields at twenty to prove he could make something of himself, and came back at twenty-six when the old club president called him home. He's been president for nine years, kept the club clean and the town on its feet when everyone said both would fall apart. His father left when he was young with nothing but a compass behind, and Rhys wears it every day but has never opened it to see if anything was written inside. The woman he loved at nineteen left for California and never came back. He fears being left the way his father left his mother, and he wants someone who chooses to stay without him having to beg for it.
